Capability — Engineering Augmentation
Engineering Augmentation
We integrate engineering pods directly into your existing teams and roadmap. You get senior capacity and specialized skills — embedded engineering, full-stack to firmware — without losing ownership or the standards your systems need.
Talk to usSection 01 / What this means to us
Augmentation with ownership, not just hours
Staffing bodies into a backlog doesn't move a roadmap. We embed pods that take real ownership, fit your workflows, and carry features through to production.
- 01
Senior pods, integrated
Our engineers plug into your rituals, tools, and standards and operate as part of your team, not a detached vendor over the wall.
- 02
Capacity where it's scarce
We add throughput and specialized expertise — from full-stack to embedded and AI — exactly where your roadmap is constrained.
- 03
Owned end to end
Embedded or not, we hold responsibility for the features we ship, from first commit to running reliably in production.
- 04
Flexes to the roadmap
Pods scale up and down as priorities shift, so you get the right shape of team for the work in front of you.
Section 02 / How we do it
Pods that ship across the stack
We assemble pods matched to the work — web, mobile, backend, or embedded — and integrate them into your delivery so the cadence holds.
Full-stack delivery pods
Web, mobile, and backend engineers who take features from design through to production inside your codebase.
Platform & data engineering
Multi-tenant architecture, RBAC, real-time data, and the platform plumbing that keeps a growing system coherent.
Embedded & hardware
Firmware and edge engineering for connected products, from sensor processing to OTA updates in the field.
Delivery discipline
Clear ownership, low-noise process, and a steady cadence so embedded pods raise velocity instead of coordination cost.
Section 03 / In practice
Pods embedded in real delivery
How we add engineering capacity and ownership inside a client's systems.
DoYouWork: an integrated field-service platform
Problem
Amistee's field-service operation ran on fragmented tools and paperwork, with no real-time view of schedules, assets, and approvals, and no self-service for field employees.
Approach
We built a three-app ecosystem — a Capacitor mobile employee app, a React admin portal, and a FastAPI backend — with role-based access, location-scoped data, multi-tenancy, real-time notifications, and S3-backed approval workflows.
Outcome
A unified, mobile-first system that replaced manual processes with real-time operational visibility and a scalable foundation for growth.
End-to-end coaching intelligence, hardware to cloud
Problem
Bowling analytics depended on expensive fixed installations, forcing a trade-off between affordability and analytical fidelity.
Approach
We engineered the full product — purpose-built finger-grip sensor hardware, real-time motion processing, high-concurrency cloud ingestion, coaching dashboards, an AI assistant, and OTA firmware updates.
Outcome
Portable coaching intelligence that preserves signal fidelity at scale, shifting analytics from fixed rigs to a device players can carry.
Section 04 / Practice lead
Nahid Reza
Head of EngineeringNahid runs delivery across Ternary's engineering teams and the practices that keep embedded work moving with low noise and clear ownership. He makes sure pods ship on a steady cadence and hold responsibility for production end to end.
