The DoYouWork daily scheduling board: a week of jobs laid out by day with technician and vehicle assignments on each card, a drivers working/off toggle, and the manage rail for employees, vehicles and expenses.

How we approached the work, what we built, and why it matters.

The challenge

Amistee's field-service operation ran across disconnected tools: scheduling, dispatch, and vehicle assignments lacked a single view, and routine requests and expense tracking were handled ad hoc.

Our approach

Ternary built DoYouWork as an integrated platform — a service backend, a web admin portal, and a mobile app for field employees — and runs it under a continuous-enhancement model that ships new capabilities on an ongoing basis.

What we built

The platform centralizes scheduling and dispatch, gives operators a multi-location operational view, manages fleet and field workflows, digitizes tool, clothing, and time-off requests, and provides an audit trail for expenses and compensation. The mobile app gives field employees self-service in the field, all running on managed, infrastructure-as-code-defined cloud infrastructure.

Outcome

DoYouWork is live in production, serving Amistee's field teams across locations, with an active pipeline of feature enhancements.
