Turfly: A Sports-Facility Booking Marketplace for Bangladesh
Ternary built Turfly — a turf-booking marketplace that gives players instant booking and gives facility operators a real operations and payments backbone, built for the Bangladesh market.
The story
How we approached the work, what we built, and why it matters.
The challenge
Booking a sports turf in Bangladesh meant phone calls and manual coordination — there was no unified way to discover facilities, see real availability, pay, and confirm instantly, and operators had little tooling to run the business.
Our approach
Ternary built Turfly as a complete marketplace: a mobile app for players, an admin portal for facility operators, a marketing site, and the services behind them — designed for local payment methods from the start.
What we built
Players can search facilities, see availability, book, and pay through multiple gateways including local options such as bKash and SSLCommerz alongside cards; loyalty, referrals, ratings, and push notifications drive engagement, while operators get a dashboard for bookings, availability, and reporting.
Outcome
Turfly is live and actively maintained in the Bangladesh market, with a steady stream of improvements across the player app, operator tools, and payments.
